Moving Groups Around Berlin on Schedule
Berlin spreads its arrivals across BER, five long-distance stations and a trade-fair ground in the far west. Fix where each vehicle may legally stop first, then build the timings around it.
From BER to the hotel
The BER forecourts take vehicles up to 3.5 t only, so coaches load at Bus Stop B: about 3 minutes' walk from Terminal 1 and 7 from Terminal 2. Add that walk to baggage reclaim when setting the pickup time.
Bus Stop B charges by length of stay and drivers may not take rest breaks there, so the coach is timed to the landing. The road run to the Brandenburger Tor is about 27 km, 35 to 40 minutes in light traffic and well over that at rush hour.

Messe Berlin, CityCube and hub27
The grounds under the Funkturm hold 27 halls, the CityCube and hub27, with the central coach station (ZOB) right beside them and U2 Kaiserdamm and S-Bahn Messe Nord/ICC close by. The ICC has been closed since 2014; the CityCube took over its congresses.
A fair week usually runs as a shuttle loop between hotels around the Kurfürstendamm and the halls. Send the hall, opening hours and badge times, and the quote sets out loop frequency, vehicle count and first and last departures.
Airports feeding Berlin
- Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) — about 35-40 min in light traffic; longer at peak times
Messe and congress venues
- CityCube Berlin — Congress and event hall on the southern part of the Messe Berlin grounds, opened in 2014 on the site of the former Deutschlandhalle; it took over the events of the closed ICC. Directly connected to the exhibition halls.
- ICC Berlin (Internationales Congress Centrum) — Closed since 2014 and not in use for events. In June 2026 the Land Berlin recommended a private partnership ("Projektpartnerschaft Quartier ICC") to turn it into a culture and creative venue; a preparation phase of about two years follows, so no reopening date is set.
- Messe Berlin (Berlin ExpoCenter City) — Exhibition grounds under the Funkturm in Charlottenburg-Westend, with 190,000 m² in 27 exhibition halls plus the CityCube Berlin, hub27 and the +palais.Berlin. The Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof (ZOB) is directly beside it; nearest stations are U2 Kaiserdamm and S-Bahn Messe Nord/ICC.
- hub27 Berlin — Column-free congress and event hall on the Messe Berlin grounds, used for conferences and events as well as trade fairs.

Stations and set-down points
Many delegates arrive by ICE. Hauptbahnhof has coach set-down on Ella-Trebe-Straße; Ostbahnhof, Südkreuz, Gesundbrunnen and Spandau are the other long-distance stations. Collect the arrival station from every ticket: meeting a group at the wrong one breaks the whole sequence.
Central loading works under the "Ein- und Aussteigen frei" exception: where that plate hangs below a no-stopping sign, as on Scheidemannstraße by the Reichstag or on Unter den Linden, passengers may board and alight, but the coach may not wait. Between drops it moves to listed coach parking such as Straße des 17. Juni or Hardenbergplatz. Straße des 17. Juni often closes for big events, so name a second holding point.
Sticker rules and the Reichstag list
Berlin's Umweltzone fills the area within the S-Bahn ring: green sticker only, at all times, and foreign-registered coaches need one too. The street diesel bans ended in 2022. The quote confirms that the vehicle carries the sticker; recheck the rule before travel.
A Reichstag dome visit needs every guest's name and date of birth registered in advance, and everyone aged 16 or over carries photo ID. Gather those details with the rooming list, so the visit and the transfer run from one sheet.
Planner questions
Can a coach collect us at the BER terminal door?
No. Coaches use Bus Stop B, a short signed walk from Terminal 1. Cars and light minibuses up to 3.5 t may stop briefly on the forecourt.
Is there coach parking near the sights?
Yes. Berlin has no booking system; listed coach parking is signposted, mostly free, and reserved for coaches only at the times shown on the signs.
Can one driver cover a full fair day?
EU rules allow 9 hours of driving a day (10 twice a week) and a 45-minute pause once 4.5 hours have been driven. A fair day followed by an evening event may need a second driver; the quote shows the plan.
