Sprinter-style executive minibus: one arrival, one vehicle

For a board, a client delegation or a speaker group of six to fourteen, an executive Sprinter-style minibus keeps everyone in one vehicle and on one timetable.

Car or bus: the seat count decides

With up to eight passengers it is legally a car with driver, a Mietwagen, booked in advance. Add seats and it becomes a bus: the driver holds class D1, a tachograph records the day and EU drivers' hours apply. The layout you book sets the legal regime, not just the legroom.

Stickers and winter

Entering any German low-emission zone requires the green sticker, foreign-registered vehicles included, and one sticker is valid in every zone. Winter tyres are required whenever roads are icy, snowy or slushy, with no fixed date; on buses at least the driven axles and the front steering axles must have them.

Typical runs

An airport collection for a delegation, a day of office or plant visits, a two-city roadshow. Luggage goes behind the last row, so give the bag count for airport runs, and send the order of meetings for a roadshow so the quote can show whether one driver covers the day.

What to send before the day

Passenger names, flight or train numbers, every address in running order and the expected length of each meeting. On a roadshow with overnight stops, add the hotel for each night: in the bus layout the driver needs at least 11 hours of daily rest, which sets the earliest start next morning. With eight passengers or fewer, the car rules apply instead and the vehicle returns to base between bookings unless waiting time is included.

Yes, if the waiting time is booked. Give the expected duration and the pickup point.
