Bremen Airport group transfers: short run, agreed stop, cruise links
From the terminal to the Marktplatz is about 4 km, roughly 10 minutes in light traffic. Short does not mean unplanned: no coach point is published, so the stopping place is agreed in advance.
Stopping place and meeting spot
The usual pattern: the group is met inside the terminal and walks out. With no coach stop, coach park or waiting area for cars with driver on record, the operator settles where the vehicle will stand, and that goes into the joining notes with a clear meeting spot inside.
Stopping in the Kiss & Fly zone outside the terminal costs nothing for the first 10 minutes, measured by cameras at the entry; after that it is charged. P1, the car park, is limited to 2.00 m in height.

Why timing matters more than distance
On a 10-minute run, most of the transfer is the time between landing and boarding. Send flight numbers so the vehicle arrives against the actual landing, and budget the baggage wait rather than the drive. For several arrivals on one day, a short run makes a shuttle pattern easy: the vehicle can return for the next flight.
Drive time to the city
- about 4 km by road to the Marktplatz, in the centre of Bremen, about 10 min in light traffic; longer at peak times
Terminals and arrival levels
- Linked terminal buildings (Terminals 1, 2 and 3), with check-in counters 1-17 and 18-32 and gate areas A and B; Terminal 2 has its own entrance
Messe Bremen and the Bürgerweide
Messe Bremen and the ÖVB-Arena stand on the Bürgerweide, beside the north exit of the Hauptbahnhof. Bremen has an active Umweltzone needing the green sticker; the large Bürgerweide coach park lies outside it, though big events can take it out of use. For a congress group, that makes the Bürgerweide the reference point for set-down and parking.
Tram 6 and long-distance trains
Tram line 6 leaves from right outside the terminal every 10 minutes for the Hauptbahnhof, about 15 minutes away, as well as the city centre and the university. The airport has no railway station of its own; long-distance trains stop at Bremen Hauptbahnhof, where rail arrivals can join the group.
Fly-cruise to Bremerhaven
Bremerhaven's cruise terminal is about 70 km, about 55 minutes in light traffic. Fly-cruise groups can be collected at the airport and taken straight to the ship, with the check-in time from the cruise documents setting the schedule.
